Biographical Description

Daniel Earl (died 1790) was an Ireland-born Anglican clergyman and missionary for the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. In 1757, Earl (also spelled Earle) was sent to the Albemarle Region of provincial North Carolina where he served as the rector of St. Paul's Church in Edenton, North Carolina, from 1759 until his resignation in 1778.
