Biographical Description

Charles Robinson Jr. was a resident of colonial North Carolina. In 1755, he joined other merchants, traders, and planters in petitioning the Board of Trade for relief on trade restrictions. He was present at the Anson County Meeting of Freeholders in 1774 that created a nonimportation agreement for Anson County. At this meeting he was put on the Committee of Correspondence for Anson County.
