Biographical Description

Alger Ross Henderson was born on September 11, 1888, in North Carolina. In 1920, Henderson provided testimony in an investigation into an attempted lynching in Alamance County. He was employed by the Graham Water Company as a bookkeeper and later served as postmaster, a post he held for twenty-three years. He died in Burlington, North Carolina on November 15, 1964.
