Biographical Description
Lee Vance Phillips was born in Davidson County, North Carolina, on November 11, 1864. Phillips was the secretary and treasurer of the Linwood Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of veneer and "thin lumber" in Linwood (Davidson County), North Carolina. He died in Lexington (Davidson County) on December 7, 1935.
