Biographical Description
Robert Wilfong Wilson was born in Yancey County, North Carolina, on November 7, 1883. Wilson was an attorney in Burnsville who was involved in the state's acquisition of properties to conserve Mount Mitchell. He died in Asheville (Buncombe County) on December 23, 1971.
