Biographical Description
William Sutton was born on September 15, 1858 in Bladen County, North Carolina. Sutton was a minister in the A.M.E. Zion Church, serving in the communities of Henderson, Hookerton, Goldsboro, New Bern, and Wilmington, among others. He died in New Bern on June 10, 1932.
