Biographical Description

James Render was born in Culpeper County, Virginia on January 24, 1777. A plantation owner in Meriwether, Georgia, he served as a justice of the local court and attested in 1842 that he believed Margaret Strozier, a county resident, was a widow of the American Revolution. He died in Meriwether County on May 8, 1854.
