Lucy Yarborough Tanner was born in Virginia Kentucky in about 1783. A resident Bath and later Scott County, Kentucky, she married John P. Tanner in 1812. As a surviving daughter of Randolph and Mary Yarborough, she was rightfully eligible to receive a share a revolutionary war pension along with her other surviving siblings. She died sometime after 1860.
