Biographical Description

William Webster was a resident of Hyde County, North Carolina. An owner of enslaved people, in 1756 Webster served on the local freeholders court which heard a case involving Daniel, an enslaved man charged with poisoning a white woman. Webster died in Hyde in 1770.
