Joseph Hasket was born in Pasquotank County, North Carolina on August 15, 1749. A Quaker in Perquimans County, North Carolina, Hasket freed his enslaved person named Jenne sometime prior to 1783, probably in 1776. Hasket died in Randolph County, North Carolina in about 1835.
