Drury Gee was a resident of Northampton County, North Carolina. A local justice of the peace, in 1768 he heard a case involving three enslaved people charged with murdering their enslaver. During the American Revolution, Gee was a member of the Provincial Congress and also served as a lt. colonel in the Northampton Regiment of the North Carolina Militia. In 1783 Gee represented Northampton in the North Carolina State Assembly. He died in about 1786.
