Dear Sir:-
I have read a copy of a letter written to your Excellency by Mr. D. M. Ausley Sec. & Gen. Mgr. of The Statesville Air Line Rail Road relative to the Report of Supt. Mann and beg to add my hearty endorsement to everything contained therein.
Yadkin County is a very loyal subject of yours and we feel assured by your public utterences here that you will do all for us that you can and if possible increase your allowence of convicts instead of taking them from us.
Supt. Mann's report does us a great injustice and I regret that one so high would willingly or carelessly missrepresent an undertaking which means so much to this section of the state.
