Mr F. W. Thomas,
Asheville, N.C.

Dear Sir:

I am very glad to have your favor of the 3rd in regard to help for your friend in Henderson County, whose crop was destroyed by the recent floods. I do not have the handling of any funds in this connection, but was only authorized to get and distribute seeds to parties needing these. Mr. E. D. Weaver, County Agent of your County, has charge of this matter for that section, and if there is anything that he can do I shall be glad for you to refer the matter to him, with this letter.

I am sending your letter to Governor Craig, as he is the Chairman of the General Relief Committee.

Very truly yours,

Director.
