The Juriors for our Sovereigne Lady the Queen Do psent that Mathew Winn of the Precinct of Pascotank in the Province aforsd not haveing the feare of god before his Eyes but being Led away by the Instigation of the Devill Did feloniously And of malice prperced Att the house of mr Jno Jenins in the precinct & province aforsd Viz About the 15th Day of December falsly Swear upon the Holy Evangelist this fals Oath Ocasioned as followeth Viz By Vertue of a Warrant from Under the hands of mr Jno Jenins for the Recovery of a Sow which belongd to An Indian and which was in the possession of the Sd Winn. And being found by Vertue of the aforsd Winn he was Asked by mr Jenins for the Piggs that Came of the Sow he Answered upon Oath that he never Saw the Sow bring any Piggs nor never Saw any Pigs Suck the sd Sow which Belongd to the Indian [whereupon] sd Winn hath foresworne himself & is Perjurd agains the Peace of our Sovereigne Lady the Queen her Crowne & Dignity and agt the forme of the Statute in that Case made & Provided—
