At a Court of Oyer and Terminer and General Goal Delivery held for the Countys of New hanover Bladen and Onslow at Newtown in New Hanover Countys on the third Tuesday in September in the Thirteenth year of the Reign of our Lord King George the Second before the Honble: William Smith Esqr. Justice of the aforesaid court.
The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present that John Watson otherwise called William White late of Bladen County Labouror on the third day of September in the thirtenth year of the reign of our sd Lord the King with force & arms the dwelling house of Hugh Blaning gent at Bladen county aforesaid in the night time to witt between the hours of Eleven & twelve in the afternoon of the said day, he the Said Hugh in the said House in the peace of God & of our said Lord the King then being, did feloniously & burglariously, break and Enter, and two Silver handled [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] the value of six Shillings Ster mony of great Britain, one pair of new pumps of the value of five shillings of like mony and ^one^ great Coat of the value of ten shllings of like mony of the goods and chattles of the said Hugh in the said house then & there being found did then & there feloniously, Have take in & burglariously steal take and carry away contrary to the peace of our sd. Lord the King who now is his crown & dignity
