I would like for you to help me get my money from government as my Husband has been in camp at Greenville, S.C. 3 months and few days and I haven’t resieved but 15 Dollars since he inlisted and I have 3 little children and am needing help as I have nothing to feed them on and no clothing and if you can help me any you will greatly oblige me

my papers have all been filled out and sent to Washington D C but i never heard nothing from them yet
