Dear Sir:-
Yours of the 15th. in reply to our letter of the 13th. addressed to Gov. T. W. Bickett received.
We appreciate the fact that this matter is now out of the hands of the State Authorities so far as direct and positive action is concerned but we think that if the matter was taken up by the Governor with the proper department and he urged them to grant Mr. Calloway a discharge, or at least a tempory discharge until the 2nd. class under the questionnaire should be called, that same would be granted.
We would be glad if you would hand our letter to the Governor, the one dated 2/13/18, as other letters are going forward to him that are based upon ours.
