Dear Sir

Your favour by Mr. McClewean I Recd. About one hour ago. I have dispatched Lieut. Shederick Fulcher with a part of Men after Brimage with orders not to Return with out him. Provided he has not left the State if so to make Strict inquiry in what what Vessel he took his passage. I have taken a Warrant from Mr Davis which will answer the desired affect in this district. This is a piece of business which I had some reason to believe was put into execution by the Justices of this place some days ago but on enquirey I find was neglected I mentioned Mr Brimage’s situation to Telfair he assured me he should not have a passage in the Brig by no means whatever except a passport from you

I am Dear Sir
