Jehue Tison of said County planter being Brot before the Court and Charged of Murding a Certain Negroe Slave named Jam Bowser the property of Joel Tison (Orphan Son of Abraham Tison decd.) Ordered that said Jehue Tison be Bound in Recognt. personally to Appeare at the Next Superior Court to be held for the District of New Berne at the Town of New Berne on the fifteenth day of Novr. next to Answer the above Charge Whereupon the said Jehue Tison appeard and acknowledgd himself to be Indebted to his Excellency the Governer in the Sum of Five hundred pounds Currency and George Moye Esq. and George Falconer his Sureties Acknowledged themselve Each to be Indebted in the Sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds Like money to be Voide on Condition that the said Jehue Tison make his personal appearance at the Next Superior Court to be held for the District of Newberne on the 15th Novr. next and then & there abide by the Determination of said Court.
