Alfred Henry Marsh was born in Chatham County, North Carolina on September 4, 1789. He gave testimony in John Clark's application for a veteran's pension on behalf of his father, William Clark, to certify that he knew John Clark and had reason to believe that William Clark did serve in the American Revolution. Marsh died in Randolph County, North Carolina on May 31, 1865.
