When Andrew Allen died in November 1762, Priscilla became an executor to his estate. An owner of enslaved people, Priscilla Vanpelt made a complaint before the Dobbs County court when a group of white men came into her home after her husband's death and encouraged eight people enslaved by the Allens to leave with them. The outcome of her suit has not been located.
