Biographical Description

David George was a resident of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. An owner of enslaved people and a justice of the peace, in 1741 he served on the freeholders court which heard cases involving enslaved people. George is occasionally referred to as a colonel, but the nature of his military service is unclear. He died in Pasquotank by July 1748.
