Thomas Pendleton was a resident of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. A planter and owner of enslaved people, Pendleton served as a local justice of the peace and member of the freeholders court. Between 1739 and 1746 Pendleton also served three separate terms in the North Carolina Colonial Assembly. He died in Pasquotank by April 1750.
