James Walker was a resident of New Hanover County, North Carolina and was born in about 1741. In 1770 he served on a coroner's jury which investigated the death of Quame. He may be the same James Walker that served on the New Hanover Committee of Safety in 1774. He died in New Hanover on January 18, 1808.
