T. Claiton was a resident of either Perquimans Precinct or Chowan Precinct, North Carolina. The full identity of this individual has not been verified. In 1720 this individual recorded the deposition of William Felts regarding the lawsuit between Nicholas Crisp and Paul Palmer over the ownership of Sambo, an enslaved African American man.
