Biographical Description

Samuel Stafford was a resident of Pitt County, North Carolina by 1765. In 1778 he served on a coroner's jury that investigated the death of Jim Bowser. During the revolution he also served as an officer in the Pitt County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia. Stafford sometime after 1781.
