Absolem Collins was born in Bertie County, North Carolina sometime before 1749. A resident of Chowan County, North Carolina by 1780, in 1782 Collins testified in a case involving Thomas and Elizabeth Jones, who had been charged with theft. Any further information about Collins has not been located.
