This is to certify, that at a Superior Court, begun and held for the County of Sampson, at the Court-house in Clinton, the 14th Monday after the 4th Monday in February AD 1873, Carey Pugh Col. and Amos Mainor were tried and convicted of Larceny and sentenced by the Court to imprisonment in the State Penitentiary five years.
