To whom it may concern

Be it known that a term of the Superior Court begun and held for the County of Edgecombe, at the Court House in Tarboro on the 10th Monday after the 3rd Monday of Sept 1873 (being the 24th day of Nov. 1873) the following persons were duly Indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced to be confined at hard labor in the State Prison as follows:

1. George Johnson convicted of Larceny and Sentenced the 29th day of November 1873, for the term of three years. (3)
2. Lewis Harrell, convicted of Larceny and Sentenced 29th day of November 1873, for the term of three years (3)
3. Riddick Harrell, convicted of Larceny and sentenced 29th day of November 1873, for the term of three years (3)
4. Thomas Barnes, convicted of receiving stolen goods, knowing them to be stolen, and sentenced the 29th day of November, 1873, for the term of three years (3)

In testimony whereof John Norfleet, Clerk of the Superior Court aforesaid, had hereunto subscribed his name and set the seal of sd Court, the 28th day of December A.D. 1873
