State vs. Gaston Faison
Larceny & Receiving 
At a Superior Court held for the County of Northampton, at the Court house in the town of Jackson, beginning on the 17. day of May A.D. 1875.

Present, the Hon: Saml. W. Watts Judge 6th. Judicial Dist: Presiding.

This day the defendant Gaston Faison is brought to the bar of the Court, in his own proper person by James W. Newton, Sheriff of Northampton County, in whose custody he is and thereupon comes a Jury to wit: Jas. Day, G. T. Johnson, A. Joyner, Jno. R. Drake, W. Jenkins, Jonas Pope, Jas. J. Lassiter, Jno. Allen, Jas. A. Mitchell, W. T. Joyner, J. D. Collin, and F. E. Whitehead, who being duly sworn, tried, charged and empannelled, to well and truly try by this issue of traverse joined between the state and the defendant Gaston Faison, upon their oath do say for their verdict, that the defendant Gaston Faison, is "Guilty" as charged in the bill of indictment. And thereupon on motion of the solicitor for the state, for judgement, it is considered and adjudged by the Court, that the defendant Gaston Faison, now here at the bar of the Court, be confined at hard labor, in the States Prison, for the term of two years, and that he be discharged therefrom, according to law. It is further ordered that James W. Newsom, the sheriff of Northampton County, be charged with the execution of this sentence & that he deliver the prisoner Gaston Faison, within the time prescribed by law.

Judgement Granted May 24 A.D. 1875.
