Dear Governor-
I have just read on my return home your letter to Mr. Varner in regard to the chair factory that we have been talking about putting in at the State Prison, which looked pretty good from a business standpoint, as it would have cost but very little to have tried the project out. I am very glad indeed that you sent the board such a strong letter in regard to this matter, for under the circumstances as you stated I believe your views are entirely correct and will be governed accordingly.
