I being the person from whom it is alleged Theo. Nugent stole the Watch and Pistols, I think it proper for me to give my views on the subject. I do not think that Nugent is guilty of the theft, he was in bad company & that is all that can be said against him, don’t think he had anything to do with the stealing or carrying off the articles, had he been properly defended he would have been cleared.
