Indictment for Larceny

At a Superior Court held for the County of Franklin at the Court House in Louisburg on the 1st Monday after the fourth Monday in September 1878 before his honor John Kerr Judge Superior Court, Solomon Davis was convicted of Larceny and thereupon it was adjudged that the said Solomon Davis be confined in the State Penitentiary for ten years at hard labor.
