WAR DEPARTMENT, OFFICIAL BUSINESS,
Raleigh, N.C., July 25, 1917.

Provost Marshal General,
Washington, D.C.

Reference District Board North Carolina. In Western District substitute E. T. Cansler, Charlotte, in place of R. B. Redwine of Monroe; also substitute A. H. Galloway, Winston-Salem, in place of W. N. Reynolds of Winston-Salem. Both Redwine and Reynolds for good reasons are unable to serve on this board. Galloway is loyal, patriotic citizen, and will make ideal representative of business. Cansler is a prominent lawyer, in every way fitted for this service.
