Dear Sir:-

Your letter of September 18 has been received and, in compliance with your request, I am enclosing herewith a copy of Governor Bickett’s letter to the Secretary of the Navy tendering the Navy Department the use of Camp Glenn for the establishment of a Naval Aviation Camp.

In regard to the status of Mr. T. M. Young, about which you inquire, I am directed by the Governor to advise that Mr. Young is employed by the State of North Carolina as care-taker to look after the property owned by the State at Camp Glenn and he will be retained in that position.
