The Humble Petition of Julius Caesar Parke again Mr Antony Hatch
Sheweth
That some time before the 20th of January 1743 Your Petitioner had in his Service and Employment a Negro female Slave cald Philis who on the 20th of January 1743 Runaway & Absented herself from the service of your petitioner and still continues Runaway
And Your Petitioner further shews that he's well inform'd verely belives & doubts not but to prove that the said Negro female Slave Philis so Runaway has from the first of her Runing away been encourag'd Harbour'd Aided & Assisted by the said Antony Hatch tho' he well knew the said Negro to be Runaway contrary to the form & Effect of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided
Your Petitioner therefore prays that the said Antony Hatch may be summon'd to appear before this Court to answer to the Above Complaint and further to Stand to and abide such Judgment and Decre as this Court shall make in the premises and that Your Petitioner may be reliev'd herein according to the true intent & meaning of the said Act of Assembly and Your Petitioner shall pray
