Biographical Description

Frederick Jones was a resident of New Hanover County, North Carolina. A planter, he resided at a plantation called Spring Garden. In 1768 he served as a justice for the local freeholders court which heard cases related to enslaved people. He later served as a member of the Wilmington Committee of Safety during the American Revolution. He died in Wilmington by December 1797.
