Raleigh.

August 4th, 1913.

Mr. Robert S. Taylor,
Mt. Olive, N.C.

Dear Sir:

Yours of August second concerning Senator Scott from Alamance received. The Attorney-General has given an opinion to this department that being a member of the Board of Directors of any of the State Institutions does not disqualify a man to be a member of the Legislature, and, therefore, no election has been called in Senator Scott's district.

Very truly yours,

Private Secretary.
