Ordered that the said negro Tom belonging to John Duboise Esqr. be Castr^a^rated by having both his Stones Cut out

And in Case he shall die by the ^in the^ Opparation is performd and ^or Expose^ the [Cause] made we the Justices and freeholders do value the sd. negro TOm to be of the Value of Seventy pounds proclamation money and in case of any long sickness to be allowd by the publick ordered that the Sherrif cause the sd. negro to be Castrated on the or before the 15th of this Instant and that he be in Goal the mean time
